This bowl is made of clay that I burnish to a shine on the outside, then wrap in horsehair, sprinkle with rock salt, brush on a chemical that gives ranges of orange color, then wrap in aluminum foil and smoke in a bbq grill cooker in pine sticks, shavings and paper bags. No fooling. Bowl is then waterproofed inside and waxed and buffed to a shine on the outside. Not meant for drinking out of, but a satisfied customer does on a daily basis. Wash by hand and do not put in the microwave.
