This display plate is made by slumping window glass in a scalloped form with a scattering of colored glass bits on top.

I purposely fired it very hot and fast to give it a blue translucent textured surface and lend it depth and dimension by trapping air bubbles inside.

Coated on the back with glass paint so hanging hardware or stand won't show through.
