Neiman Marcus handbag fragment, fused glass plate, metal medallion, metal leaf, found art, dinner plates, glass plates, dinnerware, upcycled
2002
Kiln, Slumped, Fused, Glass, Metal leaf, Metal, Medallion, Found object, Paint
$80.00
10" diameter

Some of my best artwork is made from bits and pieces I find lying in the gutters on walks or jogs. Some fashionable lady is missing a piece off her designer bag. I memorialized it on top of a piece of metal leaf between two pieces of window glass with bits of glass in each corner and slumped it into a round form. 8" in diameter and about 1/4" high with the back coated in glass paint. Display in a stand, hang on the wall or flat.
